Sundog Books & Heavenly’s Shortcakes

Sundog Books & Heavenly’s Shortcakes are two buildings in the Seaside Town Center, originally considered to be available only for the short term in their present location and to eventually physically moved to the Lyceum as expansion for the Seaside Neighborhood School. As time has passed, these “temporary” buildings have remained in their current location.

The upper level of Sundog Books currently offers music and records. The upper level of Heavenly’s Shortcakes is designed for offices and meeting space.

The two buildings were designed by Seaside and constructed by Breaux Construction Company. Burns arranged financing and provided design, development, construction administration and commercial leasing services for Seaside.
