Seaside Neighborhood School

  /    /  Seaside Neighborhood School

The award-winning Seaside Neighborhood School was granted charter status by the Walton County School Board in 1996. Today, approximately 100 students attend the school. It was funded by proceeds of the location fees from Paramount Pictures’ “The Truman Show”, filmed at Seaside in 1996-1997, and by the generous support of the developer and the Town Council of Seaside homeowners.

The two original buildings serve middle-school students from Walton County. The charter-school is managed by the parents of the attending students. The buildings are in the Lyceum area, adjacent to the Town Center. Additional buildings are to be added as the student enrollment population expands.

Richard Gibbs designed Seaside Neighborhood School. Breaux Construction Company built Seaside Neighborhood School. Burns provided design, development, construction administration and school interiors for Seaside. https://seasidefl.com
