The new Albany State University Student Housing, located in the heart of the Albany State University campus, symbolizes the University’s commitment to education in the 21st century.
The development consists of four, four-story, 70,000 SF buildings. The apartments are typically configured as four-bedroom suites. The buildings have food service, retail, a Cybercafé, and other common spaces to serve the student population of 800.
The 279,000 SF project was constructed in twelve months at a construction cost of $33,110,000.
Niles Bolton are the architects for the project. Gordon Burns with Hendessi & Associates served as Program Manager to plan, design, and administer the construction of the new student housing development.
