This new GSU Student Success Center, Georgia Perimeter College, Decatur is designed with two objectives.  First, is to serve the GPC Decatur students with a center where all student services are provided and are easily accessible.  Functions such as admissions, counseling, testing, registration, financial aid, student government offices and ancillary facilities are all under one roof to serve the student.

Second, the building serves as an icon, a beacon, and a central point of reference for the campus.  This visual identifying feature is visible from the main entrance to the campus and welcomes student and visitor alike.

The firm of Collins, Cooper & Carusi provided comprehensive architectural services. Gordon Burns, with Hendessi & Associates served as Program Manager to plan, design, and administer the construction of this new Student Success Center, which was funded funded with student fees and the Georgia Board of Regents.

The two-story, $8.7 million, 30,000 SF project was constructed on-schedule and all within an eleven-month duration.
