Caterpillar Global Communications Center
How does a large private university express its commitment to 21st Century technology and education? Build high quality, state-of-the-art, award winning buildings for their exceptional programs.
The Caterpillar Global Communications Center was awarded to GB&A through the result of an architectural design competition. The high-tech building houses the advanced communications program at Bradley. The building site, located at the main entrance to the campus, is one of the most highly visible locations.
The University sought out GB&A to provide a design to the highest quality level and to attract substantial endowments to the University from corporate and private donors. Henry P. Slane, CEO of the Peoria Journal Star, is the major private contributor. Caterpillar Tractor Company is the major corporate contributor.
The building has become a landmark on the campus and the center for the numerous communications programs at Bradley.
Great clients get great work.
